Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of benchdict.com (the “site”), operated by Jason (“Benchdict”, “we”, “us”). By accessing the site you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

Benchdict publishes reviews, comparisons and guides based on our own testing. Everything on the site is general information and our opinion, for entertainment and education. It is not professional, financial, legal or technical advice.

• Results vary. Our tests come from one person, one setup and a specific time window, all described in each Bench Log. Your results with a tool or product may differ.
• Things change. Prices, plans, features and availability change often. We date our pricing checks, but confirm current details with the vendor before you buy.
• Decisions are yours. You are responsible for the choices you make and for any purchase, and for testing a tool on your own data and projects before relying on it.

We may earn a commission when you buy through links on the site, and we show or plan to show advertising. This doesn’t change the price you pay, and it doesn’t decide our verdicts. Read the affiliate disclosure for details. Purchases from third-party sites are between you and that seller. We don’t sell products, take payments or handle orders, and we aren’t responsible for their products, service, refunds or terms.

When you use the site you agree not to:

• Break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or its data, or disrupt or overload them.
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to copy the site at scale, or to build a competing dataset or train a machine-learning model, without our written permission. Ordinary search-engine indexing is fine.
• Click affiliate or ad links artificially, or use the site to send spam or malicious code.
• Misrepresent our content as yours, or imply that we endorse you or your product.

The articles, text, tables, data, design and the Benchdict name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read the site, share links to it, and quote short excerpts with clear credit and a link back. Anything more, including republishing articles or tables, needs our written permission.

Product names, logos and trademarks of other companies belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products we review, and their use doesn’t mean the owner sponsors or endorses us.

If you send us feedback, suggestions or a correction, you agree we may use it without owing you anything or crediting you, though we are glad to credit corrections when you ask. Don’t send us confidential information.

The site links to other websites that we don’t own or control. A link isn’t an endorsement, and we aren’t responsible for the content, accuracy, security or policies of those sites. You use them at your own risk.

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Benchdict and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You agree to hold Benchdict harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us at openai@invaiz.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.

The site operator is based in the Republic of Korea. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the competent court of the Republic of Korea that has jurisdiction over the operator’s place of residence, and you and we consent to that court’s jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live still apply where the law does not allow them to be waived.

We may change the site or these terms at any time. The date below shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may restrict access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
